Maryfield Church Flower Festival

For the first three days of May, the church was bedecked with a score of beautiful flower arrangements from various contributors. The festival's theme was "The Christian Church Throughout the Year". The displays represented the important times in the year, and in our lives as a whole, in which the church plays a part.

The festival launched the Maryfield Church Spire Appeal, following news that this much-loved local landmark is in need of important repair work.

This charming and elegant porch display, arranged by Lady Diana Coward of Antony Church, welcomed all visitors.
Also in the porch, and following in the footsteps of the display along the approach to the church, was this delightful Celebration in Boots and Shoes from the Torpoint Rainbows, the Torpoint Brownies, and
Play & Praise.

"The Family" - God's worldwide family, as well as our own at home - was the theme of this lovely display from Lynn Murray and Becky Lingard of CHAT.
